Default Voicemail short cut

Is there away on a Treo to set it up on your voicemail that you don't need to punch in your password to listen to your mail. I have Verizon and was just wondering I know you can set it up on other phone with pauses and such but i can't seem to figure that out on the treo

Thanks for any help

I don't use a password with sprint. Does version require a password??

My treo came with voice mail set to my favorites set on number "1". You can edit the number and use commas for pauses then enter your password. I am assuming it is a number)

Also check out a cool application I found: 2dial. It lets you enter all your log-in keystrokes, as well as the various different commands for every automated service you call. You can program it to automatically jump to a keypad with each of your commands, based on the call you've made. I think it's at shsh.com

I have Verizon and I can't get the above trick to work...

So I do *86,12345# 12345 being a generic password....

Or is it *86, 12345# with a space??? What format did you use??

You might try and place more pauses"," between the number and password. It may be dialing the password before the voice mail answers.

Exactly. I'm on Verizon as well, and I use two commas to be safe.
If that still doesn't work, try adding a # sign before your PIN, and try assigning the favorites button to your phone number rather than *86. Totally silly, but I'm superstitious and I've had difficulty with *86 before.

Sweet... The favorites button worked, cause I added the Extra Digits option!!!! Thanks It is much better than having to type on the little keypad while your driving...

you might want to call Verizon to see if they can set your vm up to where you dont have to enter a password from your cell. I work for Alltel and we have that option.
