Volume not very loud.

I just tried the volumecare app that Chris listed. It works great. My speakerphone and headset speaker are both way louder now. I can hear clearly. What's surprising is that I thought the speakers would be clipping and overdriven resulting in terrible sound, but they don't at all.
Anyway, I'll be gladly paying the $12 - $15 to use this.

okay there is a problem there.....
I updated from the exact same FW/SW and I noticed a big change in speakerphone and in earpiece a slight change.....

I would update the ROM with the updater to 1.28 mot the Cingular released update but the one prior that was not intended for the cingular phone.....

If you need step by step instructions Iwould be more than willing to help you go through it tomorrow....it takes about an hour including adding all the apps back into the phone.....

You can upgrade to the cingular updater 1.13 which takes the FW to 1.31 instead of 1.28 which I went to.....
I just updated before that ROM came out and I have seen no differences in phones with the official update for cingular. Send me a PM if you want to upgrade and want some first hand experience with it....
