VZE Customizable Rigntones

Came across this link with the help of a tech support rep at palmOne. Thought you guys would like to see it if any of you are interested in customizing your ringtones and using WAV or MIDI files.

Okay this is pissing me off. :mad: I can't seem to get anywhere with trying to get MP3's as ringtones and that palmOne site doesn't help me a lick (I know that ironic consider I posted it up here ). I'm looking for a FREE program. Not a trail version, but a FREE program that will allow me to create customizable ringtones and/or use them on my Treo. Can you guys help me out here please?

I've downloaded numerious WAV-->MIDI, and MP3-->MIDI programs without any luck. Either they didn't allow me to save what I did, or only allowed me to save an absurdly small snipet of the song because they were trial versious.

I tried Ringo already and it kept rebooting my Treo. In addition to which, it was a trial version and only lasted 7 days, during which time it only allowed me to use one ringtone for only one contact. I'm assuming Ringo Pro will have the same, if not similar restrictions so I'm not really interested in that. I'm not looking for a trial version or an app. I have to pay for. I'm looking for freeware or shareware, but something that won't cause any problems with my Treo. Either that, or if someone can explain to me how to enable the Treo itself to use customizable ringtones and direct me to the proper software I need to convert the music files I want, to the proper format for the Treo to use. And if you could walk me through that I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Okay then, I guess I just have to post the steps to get to that page. Sorry about that.

Go here: http://www.palmone.com/us/
- Go to the "support" tab at the upper left of the screen.
- Choose your model phone and the service providor from the drop down menu.
- Underneath the little picture of the green phone button (it looks identical to the green phone button on your Treo) click the link titled "Ringtone management".

That should take you to the page I was trying to direct you guys to.
