    Hello everyone

OK I'm up and running now with my pda and it's all working but I was wondering if it's possible to transfer a jpg to it to use as a wallpaper?

    Cheers

With the default software, you can only do this in the Phone app. Press the Menu button, then tap Options. Tap Show Wallpaper, then you'll get the Select Picture dialog. Pics can be on either the Treo or SD card. If on the SD card, they must be in /DCIM or a subfolder.

    Hi Kreth

Thanks for replying. Probably a silly question but how do I actually transfer the jpg to the phone set (I don't have a memory card yet) ? I've attempted using the quick install program but it won't let me drop it in the files for installation bit

    Thanks

Actually the launcher prc from another Palm series can be loaded onto the Treo and with it you can do backgrounds. I'll look around to see which one it is. Ben

Do you have the Pics&Videos app on your Treo?

I would suggest going easy on customizing your 650 - available memory constraints may come in to play.

It has the built in camera and that's about it as far as I know I'm afraid.

Benjie - Thanks for the advice
