Question Watching Movie Trailers on Treo 650

Hi:

Is there anyone that would be kind enough to help me get what I need in order to surf the net with my Treo 650, find movie trailers, and then view them? I am not able to do it. Maybe it is not possible due to the size of the files...

If someone can help, i would greatly appreciate it...

Hello and welcome to this forum. To get on the net, you'll need (if you don't already have) a data plan from your provider. Once you've done that, you can go to most sites with your Treo.

As for watching movie trailers, that may be slightly more involved. The RealPlayer that comes with the Treo isn't like the desktop version. It's strictly for audio. To view DVD movies, you'll need the free app TCPMP. Prior to viewing them, however, you'll need to convert them. There are many apps out there which will convert them. Check this thread out to get you going. If you don't already have one, you'll need an SD card to store the movies. Most movies do well converted to somewhere around 175-200 MB, to give you an idea what size SD card to get.

Hope this helps.
