Make sure that you have any updates, patches that Palm has released first. As well as the Palm desktop update. If you have all of that and it still happens, try the below.
This issue might be with your queries.pdb file. Here is something to try:
Go to C:\Program Files\PalmOne\(your username)
Click and move the folder titled backup to your desktop.
Sync
If you get thru the whole sync, then the issue was with a file in that folder.
If you are not able to go thru a whole sync still you would want to do the above, and do a hard reset. Then do a fresh sync with a temporary user name to see if that happens again. If not, then hard reset and sync with the old user name but NOT with the backup folder in your old user name. Install all apps one at a time and you might end up with amore stable hotsync process.
My reasoning for doing this is that I think that there might be some corruption with the hotsync speaking with your treo at that point of the sync, or at another part and it manifests itself there. |
