What are the possible MSOffice applications available and where ?

Hi all,

just got my new toy and I'm a total Palm Newbie, based in Milano; Italy. :p

I have a treo 650 row-unlocked

Thanks in advance for your patience in reading this thread and trying to help me. Here we go with ..... some basic (silly ?) questions:


1) I updated my Treo to 1.13 version. I did it since I got 2 problems in 3 days

-Several freeze and smartphone crash which needed a reset (during normal phone utilization and/or web access)

-Data loss (from contact data base)

Is there anything else to do to get set ? Will this update solve the buggs I got ?

2) How can I read directly on my Treo MS Office documenst (mainly light excel files ?)

3) Anything else experts outthere could suggest a newbie ??

Greetings from New York and welcome to Everything Treo

I hope you find the forums useful.

- You have the latest and greatest firmware in version 1.13.
- Check the CD that came with your Treo. I believe it has a "light" reader for Word - not sure about Excel
- For more robust Word, Excel capabilities, you'll need Documents to Go by Dataviz.
