Question What's the deal to upgrade from 650 to 700

Ok Just for grins...let's say you want to upgrade from a 650 to 700p with Verizon. Is there a trade-in program? What would the cost be. Or do you have to purchase a 700p at full price? If so, what do you do with the 650? Just curious.

With Verizon, they offer that credit every so often. I forget the name of the promotion because I've never been lucky enough to get it from them. I had the 700w for 6 months and it cost me $619 to upgrade to the p. You could then of course eBay or Craigs List the 650 - not sure what they are fetching these days. Another more bold option would be to sign up for a new line and then cancel your existing line. I'm not even sure if this is possible and would also involve a number change and factoring in the cancellation fee.
