Default When will the Treo 650 actually be available on Cingular website itself?

Anybody got an idea when the 650 will be available on the Cingular website itself? Can't order it on the Inphonic website if I want to keep my phone number and I'm already a Cingular/ATT customer. Sucks.

I agree. If you're not adding new service, the price shouldn't much different through Cingular than if you ordered one through PalmOne. I'm planning to wait until my contract expires to get the 650.

My experience when upgrading from my Treo 180 to Treo 300.

Having to wait until my contract expires to get a 650.

    Good luck with your decision..

Because since I'm a AT&T Customer, I can't do that unless I create a new line of service with new number. The only way I can get a new phone right now and keep my phone number is to go with somebody besides Cingular/ATT or order a new phone through the crappy ATT Wireless site. The ATT Wireless site takes you to the Cingular site to pick a phone, but of course, Cingular doesn't have their own 650 available yet.

Of course I could buy one outright with no service, but I don't feel like paying so much if I can get a discount. Stupid merger.

Why not buy one for AT&T on P1's website and keep your current plan? ($549)

I don't think you'll find a better deal at the moment! Of course eventually there will be better deals to be had...
