| Where can i find free Midi Ring Tones...not entire midi songs Hi, I know this has been asked time and again. But went into many sites offering free midi ringtones for phones but many of them arent actually ring tones per say. All i find is entire songs in midi format. Who needs a 4 minute ring tone. I want some catchy ring tones as in short ones like the classic treo ring etc. Can someone point me in the right direction ? |

It allowed me to transfer ringers, photos, calendar and such between the phone and my PC. As a bonus, this seller sent a CD filled (several thousand) with midi ringtones. One folder is just all themes from popular movies. I don't like midi ringers personally, I love making them from my favorite .mp3 songs.

| Yah I must say there is nothing like the feeling I get my my phone rings and folks look at me like " WTF was that ?!". I use MiniTones and make ringtones from my favorite songs in mp3 format. Kind of nice to be original and not to hear those annoying ringers that come with the phones. |

| I just have to say that there is another side to this love for different and personalized ringers. As perhaps one of the people looking over saying "WTF was that", maybe we are looking because instead of enjoying hearing one of your favorite songs as a ringer, we want you to stop listening to your ringer and patting yourself on the back for doing such a good job and answer the G** D*** phone!!!
I am not saying anyone in this thread or any member of ET is one of these inconsiderate boobs, but I sure wish people would start to pay attention to what goes on around them and realize that maybe other people are not in the mood to hear a concert going on just because the phone owner seems to think that everyone has to enjoy my favorite songs as much as I do, don't they? I will let it play for them.
I'm done!

| Too much coffee Steve?? HaHa I agree that people sometimes are hmm a-ses about their phones. I have found that the majority of cell phone users do not know that they can silence the ring with a push of a button instead of it ringing until they get to a place to answer it.
Most are tech. challenged and just open and close the flip. It is fun though to watch an important person (who should know) scramble out of the room with his phone ringing......

| Steve, I use lovely, calming tunes that I made on my phone and I do silence it as soon as I grab the phone. but yes, there are a lot of unwelcome noises in this world, a lot of them from endlessly ringing cell phones. I have to work with some guy who text messages a friend all day (yes, at work) and he used to keep the phone on vibrate but now has it ring. Now that is ANNOYING!

| Yeah sure Dollface!! You go to allllll that trouble making the tones and you silence THEM. Just Kidding.
Hey I just remembered I turned my ringer turner off watching the movie Jumper last night, its back on and I did not miss a call. I must be pretty popular today.

| Steve, I do realize that not everyone may like the song choices I picked for my ring tones and no I do not let my phone ring for an extended period of time so I can listen to the song and the volume is set low. But, I was in a restaurant yesterday trying to enjoy a meal and and on 3 different occasions some morons, with that god awful default ringer set, let their phones ring several times before they even decided to look at their phones.
And it maybe the "cute" thing to do to make your own ring tones but, as long as the music is not filled with offensive lyrics I prefer to hear that over the default rings that come with most of these phones. |
