Which carrier Sprint, Cingular or Verizon - Treo Forums

I thinking about getting a Treo and was wondering which carrier is best in Winston Salem, Nort Carolina.Thanks

Verizon is tooooooooooo expensive. $45.00 for unlimited data? Please. Cingular is okay, but Sprint is the cheapest, so I say go with Sprint.

If you have friends/family in your area that are happy with Sprint, then I'd echo the previous post. Go Sprint due to the low data cost. Cingular next -- especially considering the low cost of the phone w/ plan at $229. I've had Sprint in the past and had great success.

I'm not from your area, but I have used Sprint for over a year now, and have been happy with my plan. I have traveled coast to coast with my phone, and like the fact that I have service nearly everywhere, no roaming, and unlimited data (I use the email/web/data features a LOT). Coverage has been good.
I went with Sprint simply because it was my only choice of service for the Treo where I live, but I have no complaints to speak of.

I'd have to echo the Sprint endorsement. You might want to go into an actual Sprint store (not an authorized dealer) and ask for a manager and propose a deal. Take the cheapest price printout you can find on a phone. This is what I did and the manager matched it, without me having to worry about a rebate. She also got rid of the activation fee and gave me a free $50 credit!

I offered Cingular and Verizon my business with the Sprint comparison, and they sent me back there, like they didn't want my $45 a month for data use haha.

Strong signal where Cingular would not work, great price, great data price, no roaming cost, I have to endorse Sprint.
