I've tried that a couple of times, and Ringo will show Disabled when I leave the app, and then I'll go into Uninstall Manager and choose to Uninstall it, and I get the message:

Ring is protected and cannot be deleted. You need to either disable Ringo or soft/wam-reset your device and try again.

I've tried resetting as well with no luck in trying to uninstall afterwards.
