Default Who else needs CAMERA exposure control?

Love to get a 3rd party app to control light exposure level on the Treo 650!
Something as simple as the ability to over-expose when needed like bright white background when subject is darker.
Anyone know of of any apps?

Shady, I am pretty sure that once while browsing for software I saw such an application at mytreo.net. But I just went over there to find it and could not. I recall it said something about it measuring the amount of light available and then automatically adjusted the settings before the picture was taken. Sorry I couldn't run it down for you . . . .

Edit: Actually, here is what I saw. . . I don't believe this is what you are after. At the time that I read it, I thought it adjusted the cam, but it sounds as if it only adjusts the screen you are viewing it in . . This is what I saw over there however . . .

I think I would want something like that. I'm finding that my pics all seem darker than what I originally thought when I took the pic. Strangely, before I took the pic, everything seems to look fine, but after the pic is taken, the photo is quite dark and I end up having to brighten it up. Quite annoying. The picture capture is inferior compared to my Zire 71.

I'll check out BrightCam and see if the pics will turn out better. Thanks, Stillrockin.

I checked out BrightCam but unfortunetly does something else. Pretty cool though.

Any developers out there? Please make something for us camera users.

yea, that was my bad . . I tried to apoligize in an edit. After I found it, and made the post, and went to look closer and realized it wasn't what I thought it was . . . I hunted for that stupid app for a good 30 minutes and was so proud when I found it. Then I read it and realized it didn't even do what I thought it did . . .

Not software but I've gotten pretty good results using this technique:
