why is it resetting after my friend calls

so everyone else has no problem callimg me and me answering but my 1 friend calls me i pick up and it resets my 650.. is only his # weird.. any idea?

Good catch, if you have a sound file associated with that person, and it's corrupt, that would definately cause it.

If that's the case, Chris nailed it <good show chap> change the sound file.

hmm i dunno.. yeah i installed ringo but didnt have a song assigned to him .. i deleted his name and # and re-entered it and now i dont have a problem lol i also saw i had Adrian cell contact 2 times .. ..

ahhhhhhh its still doing it it resets when my friend calls he has cingular too any idea??

Just for grins, what happens if you delete him and he calls? It should ask you then to add him as a contact <Unless you disabled that feature> and see if putting him back in after being prompted by the phone helps. Just a thought to try. I would also remove Ringo and see if that makes a difference.

Where is the add a contact feature. My phone has never promted me to add a number to contacts.
