The Palm OS does not support wifi - if you want wifi you gotta go with the Sled.
ok, so i'm looking for a new phone i have the 650 now and i love it but i was looking for one with wifi, wasn't it all the rage a year or so ago. well i talked with a sales rep from palm and he said quoit "the wifi on all the phones using the palm OS has been disabled" so has any one been able to hack in and enable it? hello to the hackers is it possible?

You know what, this is just my two cents, but wifi isn't all it's cracked up to be. I had a device with wifi, and except for my own home, the signal was never strong enough to maintain a constant connection and the download speeds are VERY slow :tounge:. I was so darned happy when I got my first treo 650 and activated the data plan, I was amazed at the speed of transmission; now needless to say, with the EVDO on my 755, I would never use wifi again.

Ben is right about the 650... the sled is pretty much the only option.
AS for other models I think you can get the wifi card and they will work....have not heard if they have been disabled by palm. I believe the cards are for sale at the everything treo store. (Cards do not work with the 650).
My kids at college which is wifi heaven use there ipods all over there.
