Will a Treo 650 work for me?

I am just thinking about getting a treo 650. I have a few questions.

Can i listen to music while working on other apps.

I don't want the data plan as I just wish to use it for contacts and todo and excel files.... Do I need a data plan?

Can I use msn messenger as I would on my cell phone with out a data plan?

Yes you can listen to music while you are in other programs.

For contacts and documents you can sync with your computer to get this information.

MSN messenger is an internet program so you would need a plan or pay fees. You must have a plan now that allows internet access.

I did not think I would use the internet but I use it alot now. If you are going to use the internet I would look at the latest and greatest from palm. 700p or 680, or 700w phones depend on which carrier you are on. The new ones you can actually watch tv. (for a fee)

Unless you have slingbox and orb. then all you have todo is pay for the internet fee. :laugh3:

Is there a way on them to block the internet so I do not end up with any huge bills by logging into the internet without being aware of it.
