 |  Windows media player Greetings. everyone was helpful in my last question about the SD card so I wanted to say thanks and see if I had any luck with this question I have a book on the SD card that is a windows media file. I tried to install windows media player from the treo cd that came with my 650. It installs ok and says it is ready to use....but no workie I have tried to sync but still it is not on the treo. any clues as to what I need to do next? Thanks |

| Phantomdaz, the windows media player that came with the treo is for your camera. when you record a video using the camera and sync your device it makes a copy in the PC and the file format for it is .3gp which the windows media player can play in the PC.... if you want to play video files that are in you SD card try using TCPMP... its a free media player that supports *.avi *.mkv *.mka *.mp4 *.m4a *.ogg *.ogm *.asf....... http://corecodec.org/frs/download.ph...almos.0.66.zip this can also play mp3's and wav files |

| Thanks for the reply and clearing that up for me What I am really trying to do is listen to a book I have in the SD card as a WMA file. Do you know of any player that will play it on my Treo 650? Thanks again |
