Yahoo Mail Plus Sync Problem

I just activated a new 650 and I have successfully set up VersaMail for my Yahoo Mail Plus. It received messages and successfully deleted some both from the device and the server so that they no longer were in the inbox when I checked online. However I do not seem to be able to get the Autosync to run. I have changed the settings so that it is allowed to 7 days a week from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. every five minutes.

Does anyone have any idea why it won't download new emails? I fooled around with the settings more and somehow forced it to download, but I can't even figure out how I did it manually and would prefer it to happen automatically.

Do you have the filter set to new mail only? I am not sure if you need to have the filter set but you might try it.

Or set it up to retrieve all mail to test auto sync.

It has at least started to get new messages intermittently now. I think I'm just going to have to watch it and try to get used to the pattern. I'm used to a blackberry for corporate email so the treo with Yahoo email behaves very differently.

I know nothing about Yahoo plus email. But I understand that they offer IMAP accounts. If your wanting more of a blackberry experience, I would suggest you try "Chatteremail" set to an IMAP account. Its probably my favorite application for the Treo. Especially for mulitple email accounts!

Thanks...I seem to have it resolved now but I don't think I really did anything differently. It seems to work fairly well, it's just not that real time if you are sitting at your PC comparing the two. There seems to be a little bit of a delay in the sync.
