    Default 650 to 680

    Ok i am with cingular and they wanted 459 for the 680. I ordered an unlocked from palm for 350. I want to know do i just insert my chip from the 650 and snyc with my computer and everything will start working on the 680 as normal. will my plan staythe same 39.99 unlimited data etc.:foot:

    You are better off installing your applications one at a time and taking the time to insure you have the latest updates. I suggest renaming the backup folder to something else, that way when you do your initial sync nothing but the PIM files will be loaded.

    an unlocked 680 for 350? on the palm website isn't it 399? Just a little curious.

    I am also with Cingular & ordered (& received) my 680 from them for $275 and there is a $100 rebate from Cingular.

    did you get it at your local store or do an on line deal with Cingular

    I got mine the day after Thanksgiving from teh Cinglr Store for 449.00 less a special Thanksgiving Weekend rebate of $50 plus the $100 rebate so basically it will be $299 after all the rebates are done.
