how to flush a warranty on a phone.... Really, should never go inside a case without absolute knowledge of what you do. it is also possible the jack may have been damaged in the opening of the case. The reassuring part is that it works when the headphones are plugged in, thats why I suspect a damaged jack. it may be as simple as plugging and unplugging a few times rapidly will clear this, unless its really tweaked, in which case, a new jack would have to be soldered in ~~NOT for the novice! and without a warranty, it WILL hurt.$$ I'd suggest checking a few treo repair places for rates. They may be better than the providers' service centers' out of warranty rates |
