Default 680 reboots updating datebook

My Treo 680 will suddenly reboot as I'm browsing through my calendar. It will also "randomly" reboot if I turn off the Treo when the Calendar was the last application I was using. I had this same problem with my Treo 650. I think it happens when it tries to display the "Updating Datebook" message box. I think I've worked around the problem by going into preferences and turning off the auto update of the date, time and timezone. I've set that feature to manual.

So my question is, can anyone explain what the Updating Datebook message box is, what causes it to display and secondly, is there any kind of fix to stop the rebooting when the auto update of date, time and timezone is turned on?

Thanks,

Matt

The calendar PIM database is corrupt. You can try to correct it on the desktop and sync it back over or take a look at DBFixit - you can run the unregistered release and see if it provides an error message. If it does, then the registered release should fix it; the application works well.

Default Step 1 works...

I've downloaded and installed DbFixIt. It has identified some issues. I'm waiting for the registration confirmation to see if it fixes the problem.
