    Default 8gb sd

    I am looking to get an sd card for my 680. Have herd the 4gb works with no problems. But will an 8gb work. Would be nice just to know that I have more memory than I need.

    My own experience reflects what I'd read in some other places: it will work, but the phone will incorrectly report the free space. It will act like it's a 4GB card. In fact, I was hotsyncing to it once and it needed to cross the 4GB barrier...and it wouldn't. What I had to do was copy some stuff to it manually (using a USB SDHC card reader) to get it over 4GB, and then the Treo was fine with it.

    So, very odd, but it works (and I LOVE having 8GB, holy cow I've got tons of music on there now, and videos too!)
