    Default Accessing Web content

Here is my problem: I currently teach several online courses at a couple of colleges but when I attempt to log onto the course platform I am redirected with an error message stating that the platform does not support my web browser. I have done some research on the web and discovered that Windows Mobile 5.0 has an IE mobile. I am curious if anyone may have some suggestions in resolving this problem.

    • Can I get a patch that makes Blazer look like IE to the school platform?
    • Will Windows Mobile resolve this issue?
    • If so, can I upgrade my Treo 680 OS to Windows Mobile?
    • If so, where can I get the upgrade?

Forgive my naivety regarding this issue. I am just frustrated that I can’t access my courses from the Treo and I feel that I may have made a mistake in purchasing it for this use, later to discover that I am asking way to much from the devise.

Welcome to ET. The 680 is a palm OS and Palms using windows mobile are the 700w and wx and the 750 There is no patch to emulate IE for Blazer at least at this time. You cant upgrade to windows mobile and many palm os guys would tell you thats not an upgrade. You may be able to get in to the colleges servers using opera mini or some other palm os browser. Do a google or search for palm os internet browsers and see what you come up with. I will do a search as well also search here in ET and see what you find. Keep us posted.
