I like the Orange Color. I wish Cingular would sell this color.

Now it is a waiting game until the DECIDE to release the 680 and 750.

I think I must have passed out twice holding my breath... several dates have been given but who knows when they decide to release it. First date was Nov. 5th. Second date is now Nov. 12th. Now they're saying some time by the end of the year... arrgghhh... Lol.

Brighthand is reporting that Cingular has a press conference scheduled for Monday in what they believe is the announcement of the Treo 680.

Cingular holds a press conference?? Wow! Maybe this will be it, and maybe since they are going to the trouble, we might get a guestimate about another Treo model that is rumored to be coming to Cingular?? Lets hope we learn something! GREAT find Chris . .

Credit to Brighthand. I haven't seen anything about a Cingular press conference until his story. I agree, if we do the dog and pony show, how about both the dog and the pony (Treo 680 and Treo 750 - you make up your mind which is which).

As I have stated on this forum before. Cingular doesn't do roll outs. At least to this point. The 8125 was leaked the first weekend of Nov last year. It appeared as rebate forms and ringtones. It never made it to the phone page however, until Feb of this year!!! And then, it just appeared on their premier website . . . No announcement, no nothing. Just tossed into the phone page along with the nokias and the lg's . . To see that first release date of 11/5/06 made me wonder. When it came and went, I became very skeptical just knowing how they did with the 8125. I agree with the black Friday sales, etc, but for whatever reason, Cingular didn't operate that way last year, so I am wondering if they might have it together for this year . . . Lets Hope! I would like to stay with them as a carrier and an unlocked 680 is certainly within my Budget . . .

Still rockin you are not correct. Cingular did a press release to announce the 8525 release date. It is on the website!

armymp, thats great if they announced the 8525, as I missed that. BUT they didn't announce the 8125, on their web site or anywhere else . . It was a highly anticipated PDA phone because of its pricepoint at that time. Leaks were all over the net, as many Cingular employees were testing them, showing scans of internal documents on release dates, etc . . . It was 4 months late and when it did make it to the web site, no announcements or nothing, unless you count that threads at Howard forums . . . .
