Can I Jump Past Touch Screen Setup?

I have a phone with a broken touch screen. I've been getting along fine without it until I tried to do a hard reset to update with the new software.

Now, I can't get past the touch screen setup because of my broken screen.

Any suggestions for how to get past it short of replacing the screen?

EDIT: Yay, I got it! You need to perform a System reset.

1. Turn off wireless mode by pressing and holding the red Power/End key.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Press and hold the UP button on the front panel of your device.
4. Take out the battery.
5. Put the battery back in.
6. If you see a progress bar (see below), keep holding the UP button.
7. Next, the Palm Powered screen (see below) will appear. Release the UP button when you see it.
8. Important: Perform a soft reset after confirming that the System Reset fixed your issue.
