I have 2 unlocked Palm Treos that work great without any major glitches.

Recently I installed Google Maps on them and I stopped being able to Hotsync the phone. During the Hotsync progress, when it synchronizing Google Maps it gets stuck there and never keeps going till I abort the sync or take the battery out of the phone. I have tried to install and re-install Google maps as well as unticking the sync on the Hotsync conduit options and nothing. Until I uninstall Google maps from the phones, Hotsync does not work. I am using Palm Desktop version 4.1 under Windows XP.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a fix for it?
