Can't hard reset
My Treo 680 is stuck in a loop of resetting and I can't get it out. I've tried the hard reset (I've also tried the warm reset); I get the message to erase all data but after selecting "Yes", it still loops through the reset screens (the orange Palm logo and then the orange Palm logo with the growing black bar at the bottom of the screen).
After doing the hard reset and selecting "Yes", I no longer get the screen that says all data is being erased; it just goes into the resetting loop.
I've taken the battery out and let everything sit for a while. I've also removed the SD card and the SIM card both without any success.
The only recent additions to my Treo have been Softick's Audio Gateway (SAG) and CallRec (which I have since removed). I have also recently registered PowerHero.
I think that SAG is the cause but I can't even get the Treo to get past the orange Palm logo screens at this point.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm desperate!

Additional info
I've been searching around and found info on the "Zero Out" reset. I tried that last night and it didn't work. When I did the Up-Power-HotSync-Reset, the LED glow steady orange but nothing else happened. I let it sit that way overnight and the battery was dead in the morning.
I have since realized that this process isn't for 680s
I've since reverted to my old 600. I HotSync-ed it with my desktop to restore the calendar and other PIM databases (I have to have my calendar and the alarms). Shortly after doing that, the 600 frozen also. I was able to hard reset it. I had checked the installed applications and Softick Audio Gateway wasn't installed.
I realized that I had recently installed some DAs for DateBook6. I deleted those from the Backup directory and re-sync-ed. So far, everything has been fine with the 600
So, I think that if I could get the 680 to reset, I would be set to use it now. Unfortunately, it still keeps looping through the two screens with the round, orange Palm (the plain one and the one with the black bar that grows along the bottom).
When doing a hard reset, I am able to get the warning screen about erasing all data with the Up button but, when I press the Up button, the 680 goes back into the reset looping
PLEASE help! My old 600 is working fine as a PDA but the battery doesn't hold up when using the phone.
Is there anyting that I can try to get my 680 back?
Can I replace the ROMs with a clean one?

A solution finally
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've gotten a solution to my looping reset issue.
After trying every reset option that I could find (soft, warm hard, zero) and talking to Rob at HobbyistSoftware, I contacted Palm via the on-line chat. Turns out that the issue is hardware related. Since my 680 is still under the 90 day warranty, I'm getting a replacement.
So I've packed up the 680 and sent it off to Palm. For now, I'm limping by with my OLD 600 until the replacement arrives. While I'm waiting, I'll download ResetDoctor so that as soon as the replacement arrives and is fully charged, I can install ResetDoctor to prevent anything like this from happening in the future.
