Can't Sync with home computer

I have tried everything. Using versamail to download my Gmail to my 680. When I get home in the evening I hit send and recieve on my outlook 2003 and a few of the messages download. Now the problem is that some of the messages don't download because they are on my phone. I have tried eveything but just can't seem to get thephone to sync with the computer. I have gone as far as a HARD RESET and still no luck. The weird thing is that I can updated calendar and contacts no problem...

I don't have an answer, because I don't use Versamail, and barely use gmail. However, I am constantly seeing posts all over these forums about gmail problems. I tried using the search feature up above and got this link:

The problem is with gmail . . . Its not a typical mail protocol standard and the result is problems when you try to apply anywhere other than the web interface.
