    Default confused about aim!

    Hi,

    I went through the different posts but I'm having some trouble figuring out just how to use aim with my new treo 680. I have the mediamax data package and i only have 200 messages. if i install a program such as im+ will that just use data (which is unlimited for me) or will it count as being "messages"? If it actually uses up the 200 messages i have, is there another program that will only use up data?

    Messages are different than data. You do indeed only have 200 text messages with that package. If you are interested, you can add data IM's through AOL, ICQ MSN, ect by using something along the lines of Trillian for a PC.

    Just remember that if you send or receive a message using a Telephone number you are using the messaging function.
