Desktop 6.2 completely deletes everything in my Archives when I sync my TREO

I switched Desktop from 4.2 to 6.2 and I exported everything from my previous Archive to Datebook Archive as it's called now. As soon as I do a hotsync it deletes everything in the Archive and at the end gives me this mesage :

When I don't have BACKUP checked in the Hotsync Applictions everything works fine, of course I don't get to back up my deleted items, and I get this message :

I lost everything I had been archiving since I updated to 6.2. Can anybody help me as to why it's not backing up the file and why it completely deletes everything I had just imported into Datebook.DBA ?
