Device/Network Glitch? - Treo Forums

Occasionally my 680 will suddenly lose signal where I normally have full strength and the word AT&T will turn into random symbols (%*#&@). The only way to fix this seems to be a soft reset. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

That seems to happen to me all the time....it is extremely annoying. Have you installed any additional software (i.e. for ringtones, organizers, etc)? I was wondering if that has anything to do with it...

I have installed multiple applications (minitones, toccer, tcpmp, LJP, graffiti).

My brother is a a fellow treo owner, and just applied a patch to his and it fixed this issue. I'm not sure about it... since we are both AT&T and mine is too new to need the patch.... dunno. You may hit the Palm site and see if they have a newer update.
