Default Do You Carry Your 680 In Your Pocket, and If So...

My Treo 680, with it's keyguard on, is kept in a top loading sleeve, the black nylon OEM one that came with the Treo 600.

When I remove the 680 from the case, it inadvertently/accidently silences firing alarms and alerts prior to dismissing the keyguard.

When I'm on the move and carring the 680 in this case and in my pocket, the calendar alarms and alerts get silenced from inadvertent and accidental keypresses from the case and the in my pocket combination.

Is it just me, or is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution?

Currently I am carrying mine in an OEM 650 side case. I haven't noticed any problems specific to turning anything on and off. However, I am a little concened about the fit of it. Its a little loose and I figure will knock around and "rub" the shell. I have been on the lookout here in the ET store for a 680 specific skin to be introduced. I am figuring that the skin on the 680 and it in the 650 case will be perfect for me . .

    I have the same problems!

The keyguard problem is really getting difficult to get used to. I have inadvertently answered many phone calls (while getting the 680 out of my pocket or sidecase) because the keyguard doesn't work correctly. I thought it was just me. I have also missed many alarms.

    Please help!!!

I am also using the palm leather side case (horizontal) which does seem to fit loosely. I initially used the verizon brand side case, which I had the opposite problem- it fit to tight and I could hardly get the phone out of the case even after using it for two weeks.

I have only had the thing for like 7 days, but I have had no issue with keygaurd. I actually just turned it off because it was annoying to hit 2 buttons to turn the thing on.

I cary the phone by itself in my pockets all the time (almost permantly) I just push the power button and put it in my pocket and go. I wear jeans and cargo shorts and freaquently bend and move as Im in and out doing things. Never had an issue. I always hit the off button before i toss it In my pocket though.

    Default Power Probs

I use keyguard. Also use SIM protection, and have unlocked my phone, though using AT&T now. Have NOT updated to version 1.09 (still on 1.03). Having power trouble - phone seems to variably just power off. This is a problem when the kids think they can access me through my cell phone and it accidentally turns off. I have sodoku on the card. Someone suggested this could be the problem. Thinking about upgrading to version 1.09 firmware. Battery currently NO PROBLEM (YEA!). Thoughts?
