    Default DSP Comfort Plus

I have an issue with this wired hands-free device and my Treo 680. The Treo doesn't detect that it's docked unless I do a soft reset before placing it in the cradle. Anyone else have one of these and does it work OK?

A secondary issue is when I start TomTom 6 Navigator, the audio output comes out of the hands-free speaker instead of the phone; the problem with this it is quite a bit quieter.

I contacted a THB Bury (the maker of the Comfort Plus) representitive and described the problem. The response was that it was a known problem with the 680 that that Palm are working on it!

I recently upgraded to the new firmware version (1.12) and the Treo 680 seems to working with the Comfort Plus cradle quite well now. I no longer have to soft reset the phone to get cradle recognized.

OK, what I wrote isn't strictly accurate. I only get the "good" behaviour if Sound Technican "Sound Booster" is enabled. Disable it and it reverts back to the need to soft reset each time.
