Hard Reset-How?

Got mine today and want to do a hard reset and re-install the CD. I've tried to access the 312 page Users Guide from palm.com/ but it must not be available.

Has any one done a hard reset? Where is the procedure?

have you tried looking ove on palm site under support on how to do a reset. Or have you tried googling hard reset on palm/680?

you could also get dimtry's hard reset app and it will hard reset your device for you.

Hard reset and all other in-depth information is located on the CD-ROM that shipped with your Palm. It's not on the website (at least, it wasn't a week ago).

I went nuts trying to find out how to do a hard reset, until I located the full user guide on the CD-ROM. The printed user guide that comes with your 680 isn't as comprehensive as the CD.
