Default Hello and I have a question....

First off, Hello all, I am new to these forums and had a question(s)

1- Do you know of a way to import your SIM data phone numbers to your Palm Desktop on your PC? I only have the new numbers I have entered since I purchased the phone....

2- What is everybody's foughts on Ringo?? I have read some discouraging remarks and some excellent things too.... I was wondering what everybody thought about the program.

3- How do I (if I can) use my phone as a modem for my lappy???

    Thanks all!

Welcome to the forums! Can't help with #1, but I will give 2 and 3 a shot!

I have been a Ringo Pro user now for over a year and have no complaints at all! It does a great job of managing MP-3 Ringtones! But you might want to try Minitones? It is very popular here!

3- How do I (if I can) use my phone as a modem for my lappy???
I use PdaNet to accomplish this! It works Great! Anywhere you have cell signal, you have a modem for your Laptop! It has saved me a few times! Faster than a modem, but slower than broadband! Just a word of caution. If using Chatter IMAP connections, you will probably have to take that connection offline before connection with PdaNet

I went back and read your original post. For some reason, when I read it, I was thinking that you were wanting a list from your sim card to place on your PC! Actually, there is a way to get your Sim contacts to your Desktop. From your Treo, Go to your contacts. Go Menu/import from Sim. This places your Sim contacts into the Treo Contacts application. Now, when you perform a hotsync (make sure your Contacts conduit is set to accept the data on the desktop) you will transfer the sim card contacts to desktop application.
