Hotmail Thru Blazer

Hey all,

Received my brand spanking new 680 a week ago and loving it so far. Getting used to the interface since I was using the 650 for a while. This is my first unlocked Treo so I was concerned about the settings. Everything seems to be working just fine. The only problem I'm having is checking my hotmail on the Blazer browser. It keeps telling me that JavaScript is required to sign in. I enabled it but am still getting the same message. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Are you using Windows Live Mail Beta? I had this problem with my 8125 as well and I had to cancel out Live Mail and just use regular hotmail...strange considering my 8125 was Windows Mobile

Take a look at Glimmermail, it is specifically for Hotmail. http://www.sunroomsoft.com/.

Are you using Windows Live Mail Beta? I had this problem with my 8125 as well and I had to cancel out Live Mail and just use regular hotmail...strange considering my 8125 was Windows Mobile

I'm not sure how to cancel out Live Mail. It didn't do that on my 650 so I was surprised to see it pop up on the 680. Not that I use it all that often but if you don't log in they will close the account so every now and then I just log in to delete the spam.

Hi Benjie,

Thanks for the link. I primarily use gmail and it syncs perfectly with versamail. I just thought to log in to my account while browsing and it came up so I don't think I want to invest in a third party software. I suppose I should be lucky I don't have issues like others are having, knock on wood! :smile:

Live Mail is a new progrm by M$ set to replace hotmail. If you create new account, you are actually creating a Windows Live ID. I think my hotmail account automatically converted to Windows Live Mail Beta and I had to figure out how to change it back. Glad to know your Gmail accounts syncs without problems...I've got one of those too :laugh3:
