how to disconnect from the web?

I need some help. I bought a unlocked 680 and have T-mobile with T-zones. When I ran the web to my surprise I could access the web. All good since I did not have the data plan. Now when I hit the web key I get a long pause with white screen then it says sending the path is mobile.palm.com/ then nothing followed by data timeout saying The page download could not be completed. Please try again later. I have tried soft reset, same response I have not tried a hard reset. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a million for this little application. And I wish I had found this thread earlier. Have been powering the phone off and on everytime I was done with mail and the web:embarassed: Who in their right minds would go through 3 sub-menus only to disconnect!!!

Now I'm happy, hopefully it will help battery life as well.
