Default How to save a word doc to expansion card?

Forgive me if this has been covered before, I did a search but didn't find anything.

Can someone explain to me how to save a word doc to my expansion card on my 680? Dumb it down, I'm blonde :tounge:

The application you are using? DTG and MobiSystems OfficeSuite are set to automagically save to the card and they both have itty bitty icons to choose the device or the card. Otherwise your sync program should have a setting or a folder to place the file in for the card or if you use PilotInstall (the one I use with Bluethooth) you can type the folder destination in or you can use a card reader. Tired of all those or's and there may be more lurking.

I'm using the reader/writer built into my notebook at the moment.

DTG does not 'officially' work on Vista (that is, some users find it does, some - like me - find it doesn't and DataViz say it doesn't, either) - problems with the sync. Plus the version that came with the 680 won't work with Office 2007 docs, if that's an issue for you.

Heaven knows what DataViz has been doing these past two years to not be ready for Vista and Office 2007 (and yet still releasing 'new' versions of the product - v10 very recently indeed, and still incapable) but there we are..

I Bluetooth it back and forth or use a card reader. I rarely use the DTG sync engine. Ben

Yep, I have an external and internal card reader. They both work fine. Ben
