Default Is the AC charger for 680 (US version unlocked) for 120V only?

thanks. Just want to know whether it can be used in europe.

Look at the charger. Mine says ~100-240V 50-60Hz on it. That means 100V to 240V. As I'm sure you know, most countries in Europe use voltages between 220 and 240V.

The more important thing, especially if you're travelling to places where the electricity grid is a little unreliable, is to make sure their switching (AC) frequency is within the given range. Should not be a problem for most EU countries.

thanks, klktrk. Now I ordered an EU version in the Netherlands (368 euros) and have not received it yet. I was planning to buy one in the states when I travel to Vegas for a conference in January. Just not sure whether I can find one easily. Anyway the price difference is about 10% tax (about 30-40 euros).
