    Question Launcher and Fonts

    Hey Everyone~

I got my Treo 680 a few weeks ago and it is great. I discoverd ET a few days ago and I love the forum. I have TONS of questions and the posts here have helped me so much, so I just want to say thank you.

A few things I do want to know is about Launchers and Fonts. I see on the posts that alot of you recommend or use apps for these functions. My question is what are these apps for and what will they do for me? I'm all about making things pretty and if these apps do that, are there any links to some really good free software? I am a girl on a tight budget.

Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

There are bunches and bunches of third party launchers out there. Most third party launchers are designed to allow you to install most applications to the SD card and launch them from there - this saves valuable space in the RAM. The big girl in the third party launcher world is ZLauncher - www.zztechs.com. Another good girl is Initiate - http://www.hobbyistsoftware.com/initiate-more.php and there are bunches more.

Fonts - bunches of us like to use fonts that are easier on the eyes or wilder to look at. I use FontSmoother - http://www.zlthemes.com/ProductDetailListing.php?PID=79.

Neither of the applications are free. As for links to downloading software, there is the download library here - that is a good place to start.
