Messenger on Treo 680?

Ok I just got this new Palm Treo 680 which is probably going back today but thought I'd ask anyways. Is there any way of getting yahoo messenger and/or msn messenger on the Palm Treo 680?

There is IM+ and Mundu Messenger in the ET store here that will allow you to IM your buds!

I use two messengers on my 680. My favorite is the Mundu IM ( only $ 11.00 and works great!)...I also use Causerie @:

The problem with Causerie is support - exceedingly erratic to say the least.

Was taking to the guy at the Cingular store when I got my 680, I asked him if I was able to use a messenger program with my AIM account with just a text message plan because 40$ a month for the data plan is a bit to steep for me right now. He said that I would have to get the data plan because when it connects to AIM is transfers data. Is there any messenger program for the 680 out there that I can use with my AIM account that does not transfer data and just uses text messages, until I can swing buying the monthly data plan.

Actually, Once the IM software is loaded onto your treo (which will incur data charges for the download) the actual sending and receiving of the IM's counts against at text messaging package or pay per use 15 cents each. If your using the IM software I would suggest the 1500 message or unlimited texting package at least.

Chada78 - the Sprint IM uses text; Mundu uses data as do a number of the others ones.

Apps such as mundu, IM+ use your data plan . .
