    Default movies on treo 680

Hi, I followed all the instructions in order to watch movies on my treo 680.
Dowloaded Fairusewizard 2 to rip movies, works perfect. I get my files on my PC as indicated with .avi extension like 450kb. I drag the file to install it into my sd card, I have my TCPMP software on the treo, do the syncro which takes quite a while, but I always get an error in the syncro, have never been able to finish without an error. When I try to open the file get an error "file not found". The best I have gone is the get the sound with no image of a very small vide clip. Can someone help me ?

Better to move the movies not thru any sort of a sync, but rather, if your computer has a SD reader/writer (or you pick up a USB version) and simply copy the movie files over that way. Never had an issue doing it this way, and the transfer is a lot faster.

Meanwhile, I'm guessing you followed the FairUse guidance elsewhere is ripping your movies down to Palm-friendly versions. For what its worth, I've found that setting the video to process at around 200 kbps, audio at 96 kbps and a 320x240 image works pretty darn well - on both my Treo and my old TX - where its landscape mode on TCPMP really comes into its own.
