    Default My 680 will not pair with Freedom Keyring GPS

    I can get my Freedom Keyring GPS to pair with my Win XP laptop, but not to my treo 680 - the device is never found when searching for it. Any suggestions? I can pair with my headset so bluetooth does work.

    Have you tried each of the 3 settings (esp all known devices and nearby devices)?
    Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...

    Yes. Interestingly I see another GPS (TomTom 680) but I assume its the neighbor's, and I can't connect to it. When I connect to my laptop it sees it as the Freedom, not a TomTom.

    Solved my problem - the obvious path to do this was not it. I originally tried Bluetooth > Setup Devices > Handsfree Setup. Wrong! Bluetooth > Setup Devices > Trusted Devices > Add Device.

    Now I find out that even though this device advertised it worked with Google Maps, Google Maps will not work with GPS on the Treo 680. Looking like ONE MORE reason to find an alternative to my 680....
