My Treo 680 is slow after update.

Hello,

I just installed the latest updates for AT&T on my Palm Treo 608. I have been experiencing a really slow application access since then. When I click any application it takes a long time to open it. Also, while making calls, the call gets disconnected and I have to dial a few times to make it work. Main sceen button also takes a few seconds to come up.

I have no third party application installed, I just did a hard reset and then installed the updates.

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a Treo 680, but back in February I installed Sprint's latest update for my Treo 755p, and I am having the same issues you described with your 680 update from AT&T.

First of all, I love my Treo 755p! I've had mine for 1 year.

Has anyone encountered this? When I push the "Power/End" button to activate my Treo, it takes approx. 3 seconds for my phone to wake up and illuminate the touch screen. This only occurrs when the phone is NOT plugged in for charging. When the phone is charging, the "Power/End" button activates the touch screen illumination normally. I've taken the Mini SD card out of the phone and had the same results.

It's rather frustrating to wait 3 seconds to make a phone call or access an application!

Your thoughts and trouble shooting ideas...
