Need more time to answer your phone? Got a trick here.
You can use the following codes to control the delay from 5 to 30 seconds on any GSM phone:
1. To get the current call forwarding status, enter *#61#[SEND] into your phone.
2. Write down the 10-digit number(ignore the +1), this is the phone number that your calls are currently being diverted to, a.k.a. your voicemail number.
3. Enter **61*[voicemail number]*11*[delay]#[SEND] into your phone using only pound(#), star(*), and numeric numbers, the delay can be set to (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30) seconds.
4. To verify that the settings are correct, enter *#61#[SEND] into your phone.
I hope this helps.

That's pretty good stuff, what makes it better though is your signature. Ryu Hayabusa=B.A.

This is a great trick and I really wanted to do this...
but my voice mail thru AT&T got messed up. Instead of my usual voice mail message callers got "this number is assigned but not in use." I had to go thru tech support to get it fixed. So maybe it doesn't work on AT&T (my phone is unlocked)...OR...maybe I did it wrong! That is definitely possible, being the fallible treo user that I am! But no way to trace back to know for sure.
Love these cool tricks, though. Thanks for passing it along. I really want more time to answer the phone. :laugh3:
