New Palm user with couple questions

1. When I receive email msg there is no audio alert. I checked settings and preferences and it's all set up properly, yet no sound.

2. What is LED for and when does it flash. I have not seen it on yet except for when the device is charging. Are there any settings for it?

3. How do I know if I am on EDGE or GPRS network?

4. Will I be able to take calls while surfing web?

Just switched from Blackberry to mix things up, and let's just say Palm OS is a little bit different. If anyone could help me out with these questions that would be great, thanks.

Have you looked in the system volumes and in that area checked the volume level?

LED for: message notification. An application like Butler really makes the notification functions of the device excel.

Depends on your provider.

No - GSM does this, not CDMA.
