Newbie Question - Treo Forums

I have a question, the LED on the top of the treo 680 doesn´t do anything else than show when is charging/charged ?

It also flashes red when out of coverage. There is a 3rd-party utility that will make it flash green when in coverage.

Another question... in the SMS messages I see where I can change the color of "me" but I cannot change the color of the other person?

with the LED, it's the new feature of the device. There were a lot of people complaining about it when they are in a movie and it blinks...it's annoying for me.

with the SMS name on the chat thread, i don't think you can change it. Not unless there is another application for it...if you find one, please lemme know so I can also try it.

An app called Butler, can control the LED and make it only light when you have a voiceamail or message etc. I have mine set to not light at all during the overnight hours. (as an example).
