Default Picture messages on 680 from T-Mobile

Is there anyone with a T-Mobile plan that uses a 680 who also cannot get picture messages? I have called T-Mobile and they say that with all of the Treos this is the only one that has problems with receiving picture messages from their network. They had me try several config settings and nothing worked. You can send them all day long and they are received to other carriers except T-Mo. If someone sends you one...you can forget it...you will never get it.

Would anyone of you experts have some type of solution? This is urking me bad!!!

I had to check to make sure I hadn't written "your" post. Mine is the same, I went through all of the same steps with T-Mobile. Even put my SIM card in another phone and of course was able to receive text pics with no problem. I guess it is just the 680.

I got it fixed. Hard reformat and reinstall did the trick. I used the settings for treo on the tmobile site. However I may still have a problem. I think tmobile may be resizing the pics when sending. Someone sent me a pic and it came in tiny. Or maybe it was there network who was resizing but thats a whole nother ball game.

    Send/receive works fine now.

However the dilemma continues..... Turns out tmobile resizes all photos to 120x160 if your phone is not a supported tmobile phone. So unlocked means unsupported.

however friend has an iphone jailbroke and he uses some program that makes him appear as some other tmobile phone.

Tmobile t3 continues to deny this even tho its on their site. I may have to switch back to att.
