Poor reception after opening phone..PLEASE HELP
Hey,
About two days ago i bought a new housing and battery for my treo 680. I replaced it and all went well, except after putting it together and turning it back on, now i get very poor reception if any at all. I have to be within about a half a mile of the AT&T store just to get reception. Any ideas on if i messed the internal antenna up. I opened it back up and it all looks like it did the first time i opened it. Has anyone had this problem before!?!?!?! HELP

Was it an after market cover, maybe in metal which may block the signal for the antenna?
Otherwise, just changing a battery is not surgey with open parts.

Phone: Treo 680...now? Waiting for the new Palm Pre. Waited and went to the iPhone. So now the Pre is on GSM...what to do??
Carrier: Rogers, T-Mobile, BTL, C&W, AT&T, Vodafone (Italy)

By the way....the telephone signal does not originate from an ATT store. (Unless the antennas are on its roof.)
