Problems installing Navigator 6

Hello there. I am new to the world of Treo and smartphones in general. I purchased an unlocked 680 for use with T-Mobile. I also puchased a TOM TOM GPS Navigator Kit for use on the job. I installed the GPS software last week with no problems, but my lack of patience caused some issues.
I uninstalled the software and tried to install it again. It will go through all of the steps except for the product registration. Also, it won't recognize the Bluetooth unit or the cradle in the vehicle. It just says "No GPS". I have unistalled it and have done a hard reset several times and have had no success.
I just ran across something that said the product code is only good for one activation.
I feel stupid for doing what I did. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? I have tried contacting Palm regarding the issue, but they just told me to contact TOM TOM.

I gave up trying to run TTN6 on a 680, I had so many niggling problems. Since moving to a 750...none!
